Equipment matters!

What's in the bag?
A camera alone cannot handle the range of light needed to make images come out balanced. We bring a set of equipment that can handle the situations that come up in all types of homes. Large, expansive spaces need more light. Dark rooms need more light. Multi-room views need lights that can be placed unobtrusivley on each room visible.
So, what's in the bag? In general, here's what we bring:
- Professional Camera
- Wide-angle lens
- Multiple remote flash lights
- Multiple light modifiers to bend light to the room needs.
- Radio light triggers: no wires!
A strong plus when using a very wide angle lens is that they produce images that span more than 90° of view in a room. That means you can see from wall to wall if an image is shot from a corner. No image stitching is required! A virtual tour can even pan across an image creating a single-image panoramic.
Technique counts too
For some situations, a single image cannot be crafted allowing for the complexities in the scene. For those situations, a special technique is often used called High Dynamic Range (HDR) photography, where multiple images of the same scene are taken with different lighting and combined using sophisticated algorithms to create a comnposite image better than any single one.
Many times outdoor images are captured using HDR to allow the trees to show up alongside the clouds and sky.
